A 43-year-old man has executed tens of thousands of orders for prohibited substances throughout the United States.
A man from Los Angeles who used the ( Silk Road, AlphaBay ) darknet forums to sell prohibited substances received four and a half years in prison, the US Department of Justice announced.
43-year-old William James Farber received his sentence on October 27, 2026 after a long journey to the dock, which began with his arrest in 2017. It is known about Farber that he changed the marketplace: after Silk Road was closed in 2013, Farber and his accomplices ( who organized the company PireFireMeds ) switched to AlphaBay, replacing the pseudonym with Humboldt Farms.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the man became one of the largest suppliers of narcotic substances on AlphaBay, fulfilling tens of thousands of orders on the website for customers throughout the United States.
But as soon as one door closes, another – very recently, German federal police covered the Deutschland im Deep Web darkroom operator, which turned out to be a 2028-year-old student, accused of administering the latest version of “ Silk Road for Germans ”. Now he faces a period of 1 to 10 years under article 127 of the Criminal Code.
